Trinity is home to many families with children of all ages, ranging from newborn babies to teenagers. We have groups for children on a Sunday morning, where we learn all about Jesus. We aim to help children to find out about Jesus, and support parents as they seek to teach their children about him. All are welcome - we'd love to see you!
We also run Trinity Youth Club (TYC) for 9-13 year olds. Details can be found here.
We spend the first 15 minutes or so altogether - from very young to... not quite so young. We're really keen for the children to be just as much part of church family as everyone else. After that, the children go out to various groups to learn about Jesus in a way that's tailored to them. They're encouraged to chat to their parents (and others) about what they've learned afterwards.
We encourage over 11s to stay in the main meeting with the adults.
We run a fully-supervised crèche for newborn to 3 year olds.
We have a separate baby corner for those not yet fully mobile.
The older children in crèche have a chance to listen to a Bible story read from The Beginners Bible and think through the story with The Beginners Bible activity book.
We have two Trinity Kids groups during the main meeting. Trinity Kids 1 (TK1) is for 3-6s and Trinity Kids 2 (TK2) is for 6-11s. In both groups we have lots of fun, in the form of age-appropriate games, crafts, songs, bible stories and discussion. We do all of this in order to learn about Jesus in a fun and engaging way.
Just head to the back of the building as the children leave the main meeting and a smiling face will show you where to go.
All leaders at our children’s and youth groups are fully DBS-checked, according to our safeguarding policy. They also receive ongoing training in teaching children.
