Duncan was a history teacher before church ministry. He trained at Moore Theological College in Sydney and Oak Hill College, London. Duncan is married to Laura and they have four sons.
Duncan is a fan of almost any sport and a cricket tragic in particular.
The Pastor is accountable to Trustees and the Church Leadership Team which is supported by a church council elected from the congregation.

Peter chairs the board of Trustees of Trinity and is external to the day to day running of the ministry in Sunderland. He lives in the north west but obviously prefers the sun of the north east. Richard came to Sunderland as a student in the 1980s and loved it so much he has stayed ever since. He is married to Linda and has two grown up sons. Alongside his role on church leadership Richard is a trustee of Trinity.
Tom has been a member of Trinity since the church was formed in 2013. Tom is an elder of the church gifted in teaching and preaching and music in particular. Tom is married to Annie and they have 4 young children
Inga is a north east lass whose ancestory hails from Orkney. Inga has more godchildren than we can all count and brings a wealth of pastoral wisdom particularly through her experience with children and working in the NHS across the region.
Gary grew up in Barnes, loves SAFC and we think does something with paint for a living. He is married to the lovely Jo and has a young family. Gary is gifted musician both for church and in a band.
Mark has been at Trinity from when the church began in 2013. He is married to Hannah and together they have a young son. Mark is a great pianist and well known for wearing shorts whatever the weather.
Claire has lived in Sunderland all her life, loves her cats and is super creative. She loves a tidy cupboard at church after clearing up toddler play. Claire plays a key role in overseeing creche at Trinity.
Rachel loves numbers! She is also a dab hand at cooking and serving in so many ways. She is married to Rick and has two young daughters. Rachel always brings wise words in thinking strategically serving wholeheartedly with Trinity Tots and in church administration.
