The student Globe Cafe is a great place to meet new friends, both from the UK & abroad. We have different theme nights as we learn about different cultures & traditions. You can also play table tennis or badminton & enjoy free refreshments.
Join us 7pm-9pm every Thursday during the University term.
The student Globe Cafe is run by Friends International in partnership with local Christians & churches. We wish to offer friendship & support to all international students of all faiths or none.
James Adair is a member of our church family & works for Friends International & leads the Student Globe Cafe. He & Sarah his wife love to welcome students & help them settle into Sunderland. Please contact James here for more information.
